MLSP Sideline – Online Coaching

Frequently asked questions

What is online horse riding coaching?

Online horse riding coaching is a live riding lesson where your coach is somewhere else: you film yourself with the MLSP Sideline iPhone app, your coach watches the live video in their browser and talks to you through earbuds while you ride. It works for dressage, jumping, eventing, western and lunging, and for other sports too.

How do I find an online riding coach?

Bring your own coach (they join free) or find one in our coach directory, filtered by discipline, level, language and country. Many coaches who taught live lessons with MOVE'N SEE (tv.movensee.com) teach with MLSP Sideline now.

Is MLSP Sideline an alternative to MOVE'N SEE and tv.movensee.com?

Yes. MOVE'N SEE ended its live lessons; MLSP Sideline offers live online coaching for riders with the equipment you already have, including PIXEM, PIXEM 2, PIXIO and PIX4TEAM robots. MLSP Sideline is independent and not affiliated with MOVE'N SEE.

Does MLSP Sideline work with PIXEM and PIXEM 2?

Yes. The app connects to your PIXEM or PIXEM 2 over Bluetooth: the robot follows your watch, and the camera's AI takes over if the watch or the beacons fail. PIXIO and PIX4TEAM owners can keep using their systems too.

How does it compare with Pivo or SOLOSHOT?

Pivo and similar mounts turn the phone through their own app, and SOLOSHOT records with its own camera system. MLSP Sideline tracks the rider with your iPhone's camera and on-device AI, zooms optically, steers a PIXEM if you have one, and adds live coaching with your trainer. See the comparison page for details.

Can I film my riding without a robot?

Yes. Put the iPhone on a tripod: the AI finds the rider and zooms to keep horse and rider in the picture. A tracking robot such as a PIXEM adds turning, so the camera follows you around the whole arena.

How does my coach talk to me?

Your coach speaks into their computer or phone and you hear them on the phone that is streaming. Wear Bluetooth earbuds or a headset, or connect a sports intercom (for example a CEECOACH) to the phone, so you hear every word while you move. You can talk back the same way.

How is the video sent to my coach?

Straight from the MLSP Sideline iPhone app, live and encrypted, with a delay of well under a second on a normal connection. Nothing to upload afterwards; your coach watches in the browser.

What do I need for live lessons?

A phone or tablet with a camera and a current browser, an internet connection (4G, 5G or Wi-Fi, ideally 5–8 Mbps upload) and a subscription. Your coach only needs a free account and a computer, tablet or phone.

Do I need special equipment?

No. A phone on a tripod or stand is enough, and it is ideal for fixed spots like a golf bay, a court baseline, a studio, a stage or a lunging circle. For sports where you move around a lot, an auto-tracking mount keeps you in frame.

Which auto-tracking mounts and gimbals work?

Mounts that track on their own: with a sensor or camera in the base, or a remote or beacon you wear. They keep your phone pointed at you while MLSP Sideline runs in the browser. Mounts that only track through their own phone app do not work at the same time, because only one app can use the phone's camera. If in doubt, try it with the setup check before a lesson.

I own a PIXEM, PIXIO or PIX4TEAM. Can I still use it?

Yes. Robots you bought keep tracking without the manufacturer's servers. Put your phone on a PIXEM and use it for live lessons as usual; your coach can even pan it and start recording. There is also a recorder in the browser that replaces the old phone app for recording with the wristband remote. See the page for robot owners for details and support.

Which sports and skills does it work for?

Anything a coach can teach by watching: riding (dressage, jumping, western, groundwork), tennis and padel, golf, dance, gymnastics, fitness and personal training, yoga, martial arts, skating, dog sports, music and stage performance, and more.

How do I find a remote coach?

Browse the coach directory, or bring your own coach: ask for their handle, or start a lesson and send them the invite link by WhatsApp, SMS or email. Coach accounts are free.

How do I call my coach?

Add your coach to My coaches once. After that, press Call now: their screen rings with a ring tone and a notification wherever they have MLSP Sideline open, and they join with one tap. You can also schedule lessons, and both of you can add them to your calendars.

Can I use several phones with one subscription?

Yes. During a lesson, press + Camera and scan the QR code with a second phone or tablet. It joins as an extra camera angle, for example one following you and one on a tripod. It all runs on your one subscription.

Can I record my lesson?

Yes. Press Record and the lesson is saved as a video file on your device when you stop. On the student's phone it records your own camera in full quality with your coach's voice. Both sides see a notice while someone is recording. Snapshots, drawings, marked moments and notes are kept in the lesson summary.

What coaching tools are there?

A lesson clock, snapshots you can draw on (arrows, circles, freehand), marked moments with a timestamp, shared notes, recording, extra camera angles, chat and screen sharing. If you own a PIXEM robot and your phone supports Bluetooth control, your coach can also pan the robot and start its recording.

Is my internet good enough?

Run the setup check on the device you will use. It tests your camera, microphone and upload speed. 5 Mbps upload is great, 2 Mbps is the minimum; the video adapts automatically when the signal drops.

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes, live video works in Safari. Only the remote control for PIXEM robots needs Bluetooth in the browser, which Safari does not have: PIXEM owners on iPhone can open the lesson in the free Bluefy browser, or use an Android phone with Chrome.

How much does it cost?

Students pay €14.99 ($17.49) a month, or €74.99 ($87.49) for 6 months (save 17%). This founder price is for subscriptions started by 30 November 2026 and stays for as long as the subscription runs. After that, new subscriptions cost €19.99 ($23.49) a month. That covers unlimited live lessons with every coach you add. Coaches join free.

What do coaches pay?

Nothing. Coaches use MLSP Sideline for free. Lesson fees are agreed and paid directly between you and your coach, on top of the streaming subscription.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Cancel from your Subscription page. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.

Is MLSP Sideline connected to MOVE'N SEE?

No. MLSP Sideline is an independent service by USAnalytix LLC and MLSP-Shop. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by MOVE'N SEE. We name PIXEM, PIXIO and PIX4TEAM only so owners know their equipment works here.

Can I continue my MOVE'N SEE live lessons here?

Yes. MLSP Sideline offers live lessons with your coach in the browser, and your PIXEM keeps tracking, can be turned by your coach and starts recording. Coach accounts are free, so you can bring your coach along.

Who can see my lessons?

Only you and the coach you invited. The video is encrypted in transit and is not recorded on our servers; recordings are only made on your devices when you press Record.
