MLSP Sideline – Online Coaching

Cookie policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

MLSP Sideline uses cookies and device storage that are strictly necessary for the service you use; these need no consent (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 5(3) ePrivacy Directive). Only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner do we also use Google Analytics (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We do not use advertising cookies. Other third parties do not place cookies on our pages. You can change your choice any time under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. The iPhone app uses no Google Analytics, so it shows no cookie banner.

Cookies

NamePurposeDuration
mlsp_sessionKeeps you logged in. Set when you log in, removed when you log out.30 days
mlsp_gateDuring the private test: remembers that you entered a valid access code, so you can see the site.90 days
mlsp-localeRemembers the language you chose or opened (English or German).1 year
mlsp_supportGuests only: keeps your support chat in this browser. Set only when you send us a message without being logged in.180 days

These are first-party cookies of our website (mlspsideline.app, and sideline.mlsp-shop.com in the iPhone app). They are only sent to our website.

On the application and booking forms, Cloudflare Turnstile checks in the background whether a person is filling them in (spam protection). It sets no cookies; it reads technical characteristics of your browser, which is strictly necessary for sending the form (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). Details in the privacy policy, section 10.

Google Analytics (only with your consent)

Set only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Ireland (data may be processed by Google LLC in the USA, certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). Details in the privacy policy, section 3.

NamePurposeDuration
_gaTells visits of the same browser apart (a random ID, not your name or email).2 years
_ga_<ID>Keeps the current visit together.2 years

Withdraw your consent any time: "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page, then "Decline". The cookies are deleted and nothing more is sent to Google.

Storage on your device

Some settings are saved in your browser's local storage so the app remembers them. They stay on your device and are not sent to us:

KeyWhat it remembers
mlsp-currencyCurrency on the pricing page (EUR or USD)
mlsp.advancedSimple or Advanced controls
mlsp.coachPanelWhether the coach's controls are shown, and where
mlsp.quickMoments.v1The coach's quick-moment buttons
mlsp.turnSpeed, mlsp.robotAuto, robot setupsRobot turning speed, auto-connect and saved robot settings
mlsp.camQuality, mlsp.cameraZoom, mlsp.riderAi, mlsp.gestures, mlsp.visionFollow, mlsp.aiLevel and other mlsp.* keys of the Sideline CamThe Sideline Cam's settings on this phone: video quality, zoom, AI tracking, gestures and how the camera turns the robot
pixem-keysPairing data for your own PIXEM robot
mlsp.consentYour choice in the cookie banner (accept or decline Google Analytics) and when you made it
mlsp.visitorOnly with your consent: a random number for our own page statistics, so a second visit is not counted as a new visitor (deleted with your browser data)
mlsp.installDismissed, mlsp.feedbackLater, mlsp.welcomeDoneThat you closed the install hint or the welcome card, or postponed the survey

The installed app also keeps an offline page and a few icons in the browser cache, so it can show a message when you have no connection. Sideline Cam keeps its page (with your name in the menu) and its program files in the browser cache, so it opens without internet; this copy is deleted when you sign out. While you record, the parts of the video are kept in this browser (IndexedDB, "mlsp-drafts") so a crash does not lose them, and deleted once the video is saved. None of this leaves your device.

Payment and third parties

When you subscribe, you are sent to Stripe's checkout page. Stripe sets its own cookies there for payment and fraud prevention; see stripe.com/cookie-settings. Our video provider LiveKit sets no cookies.

Deleting cookies and storage

You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. You will then be logged out, your settings reset, and we ask about Google Analytics again. More information: privacy policy.
